The Sauk-Suiattle Housing Department is currently assisting families through Tenant Based Rental Assistance, Low Rent Housing, Homebuyer (1937 Act Housing), and a Home Repair Loan Program.
Our current Activities:
The Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe Housing Department provides housing assistance programs to eligible families residing in Skagit, Snohomish, King, and Pierce Counties. The Housing Programs are funded through grants provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These HUD funded programs are intended to assist low income families who meet the eligibility criteria under the Housing Department Program Policies.
The Housing Department has recently completed the window replacement project on the Low Rent Housing and 1937 Act homes, replacing old windows with new, energy star windows. The Housing Department goals include continuing to operate the existing housing programs, work towards addressing needed repairs and rehabilitation work on homes, as well as, to seek additional funding opportunities in order to promote additional housing development.
